Hans Schork was born in 1935 in Aschaffenburg, Germany. He lives and works in Munich, Germany.

The light kinetic objects are flat light boxes made of acrylic glass with a silkscreen print on the front side. On its surface bright light points and light lines move at different speeds and in different directions. Light points wander over the surface, condense, overtake each other, cross, repel each other, disappear unexpectedly and flash again elsewhere. Sometimes they seem to follow geometric patterns, sometimes they create an apparent chaos with their own order. The constantly changing image unfolds a suggestive effect that invites the viewer to linger and allow philosophical thoughts about time.
