We are happy to announce that The City of Oslo Art Collection has acquired two larger scale paintings of Lars Strandh for their collection.
This large collection includes works from the 16th century up till now, and the most famous part is of course the Munch heritage that is shown at the Munch museum and the outdoor sculpture park of Gustav Vigeland. The collection includes some 20.000 artworks in total.

ART UND WEISE – The art podcast by Bernhard Kreutzer
Conversations about art, work, and everything in between. (In German)

"The artist Peter Weber is guest in the latest episode. He is known for his folds, which at first glance appear to be composed of many parts, but in reality emerge from a single folded piece. In his works, surface and space, precision and play intertwine. The result are works that not only impress with their formal clarity, but also invite the viewer to engage in an open dialogue.
Peter Weber talks about his work and the idea of networking in folding, about humor in art, and his engagement with the work of Timm Ulrichs. He also explains to AI what concrete art means.

You can find the podcast "Art und Weise" on Spotify.
About the podcast: Invited artists bring one of their own works to talk about – and one by someone else. These become open conversations about what it means to live and work in and with art today.
Rosa M Hessling's exhibition STILLER JUBEL - LICHT (SILENT JUBILATION - LIGHT) at the Neue Galerie und Museum im Haus Breda in Bitburg, Germany has been accompanied by a film that is well worth seeing.
Peter Weber + Ulf Meyer „Hommage”

We are very pleased to present the brand new CD "Hommage" by Ulf Meyer and Peter Weber.
Ulf Meyer (guitar) and Peter Weber (double bass) have a long-standing friendship and career as jazz musicians. It was a cancelled gig in Corona times that they used to record some tracks from the American Songbook in Peter Weber's studio. The compilation of tracks for the resulting CD is a reminiscence of their time together as musicians in the Hamburg scene with Christoph Oeding (guitar) and Ulrich "Miele" Meletschus (drums). In addition to the current tracks, six are from the quartet period of "Meyer Oeding Unlimited".
"Hommage" is dedicated to the two friends who died far too young.

Broadcast date: April 20th, 2024, 5:04 pm in the series SWR2 Zeitgenossen / SWR Kultur.
You can listen to the program here on the SWR website.
On Saturday, April 20th 2024, the conversation with Renate Bender and cultural journalist Dietrich Brants, which they recorded at Art Karlsruhe 2024, was broadcasted on SWR2. They talk in detail about some of the gallery's artists such as Inge Dick, Rosa M Hessling, Maria Lalić, Pfeifer & Kreutzer and Peter Weber; but also how Renate Bender came to Concrete Art in the first place and founded her gallery in 1987.
