Artist Bim Koehler
About the Artist Bim Koehler was born in 1949 in Kassel, Germany. He lives and works in Spiesheim / Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. In dealing with color fields in painting Koehler seeks out borders again and again – the dissolution of the pictorial space and the use of innovative and traditional materials have led to new results. Consistently new pictorial statements have been developed on the basis of geometrical starting points and endless layers of paint.
